I've Got This!

Whatever the topic, we can all look back on situations in our lives about which we were uncertain at the time...

... challenges that we didn't know how to face.

... circumstances that we didn't know whether we could overcome.

… possibilities that jeopardized the “status quo” in some way.

And, even with the inevitable failures that all of us will experience along our respectful journeys, we usually emerge from these challenges with renewed confidence, a deeper understanding of our own capabilities, and valuable lessons that we can apply to our future endeavors.

As coaches, we even intentionally tap into our clients' 'history of struggles and successes.'

How so?

Imagine this -- or, better yet, reflect back on when a client came to you describing a challenging and unfamiliar situation they were facing.  It could be almost anything -- the birth of a child, a new management role, a marathon, a job layoff, choosing to end a relationship, etc.  At some point in the coaching session, after acknowledging their feelings, we'll often ask that client to tell us about a time when they faced a different challenging situation and how they approached it.

Sound familiar?

For most coaches -- it is!  We tap into our clients' transferable skills, areas of knowledge, and strengths -- gleaned from different scenarios -- to empower them to develop the confidence they'll need to approach this new challenge.

This shows us how important it is to recognize our own innate abilities -- and our client's track records of success.

It brings us, and our clients, to the point of being able to say:

"I've got this."

So, what does this have to do with Ferrymaster's ICF Exam Preparation Kit?

Just this...

You may think -- or know -- that when it comes to passing the ICF Credentialing Exam, "You've got this."

And, maybe you do!

Maybe, just maybe... it takes a village to prepare ourselves as well as possible for the ICF Credentialing Exam.

Maybe... there's much to be gained from immersing oneself deeply in the exam prep process -- not only with the content of the Ferrymaster ICF Exam Preparation Kit but also alongside other aspiring coaches.

Maybe... the contacts and networking that you will establish will empower you as you continue along your journey toward certification (that was certainly our experience).

And maybe... Ferrymaster's rich, nuanced, detailed, multi-layered, and multi-faceted preparation process will empower you to be a more effective coach -- which isn't only relevant during the test prep process but also offers great value throughout the rest of the certification process and in our work as coaches.

Admittedly, we have a bias -- actually more than one.

We have a bias that being overprepared is better than being underprepared.

We have a bias that steady, structured test preparation is better than test cramming

These biases led Cathy to write four books and two cohort-based courses on test prep for aspiring Human Resources professionals.

These biases led Jackie to devote a significant portion of her professional endeavors to empowering the ICF Certification Test preparation, and to earning the MCC credential so she would be best-poised to do so.

So, friends...

...you do, in fact, "have this."

Our question is...  Do you have to "have this" alone?

Or, might you be better prepared if you leveraged your test-prep time and resources with others -- both those who have successfully traversed this path before, as well as those who are traveling it with you now?

PS - In addition to the hard-to-calculate value of the power and synergy of community, consider that retaking the ICF exam currently would cost you an extra $105.  That's more than the cost of a three-month membership to Ferrymaster's ICF Credential Exam Preparation Kit!
